Practical information

Since 2022, the Museum Picasso-Paris has started a large treatment of its archives, ahead of the upcoming opening of a Center for Research (Centre d'Etudes Picasso). 

This center will offer the best conditions to access the museum's resources as well as a priviledged space for scientific exchanges. 

In this context, the written archives will be accessible only from Spring 2025. 

We will not be able to provide digital copies of the archives. 

However, some of the archives have already been digitised and can be accessed on this platform.

The Center for Research will soon open a reading room that will allow researchers to access the museum's documentation, library and archives.

This dedicated space will be located in a recently renovated building very close to the museum, in the Marais district.

Until then, access to books and documentation is possible by appointments only and loaning is not authorized.
