The Centre d'études Picasso is located 1, rue des Quatre-Fils 75003 PARIS, within 200 meters from the Musée national Picasso-Paris.

Hours

The reading room is open by appointment only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 9.30am to 1pm. 
The CEP is closed on French public holidays, during August and the winter vacations.  
 

Public

The Centre d'étude Picasso welcomes graduate and postgraduate students from universities and art schools and from the 2nd cycle of the École du Louvre upwards; teacher-researchers; writers; art and museums professionals: art critics, art dealers, auctioneers, artists and their beneficiaries.

All the resources from the museum can be browsed on this dedicated platform :

 

Only the library, documentation and written archives can be consulted on site. 

Photographic archives and works of art (including graphic arts) cannot be consulted at the CEP.

Appointments

If you wish to consult a resource held at the Centre d'études Picasso, you can submit a consultation request via this form or directly by e-mail to the following address: cep@museepicassoparis.fr, indicating the call numbers you require (up to a limit of ten call numbers for achives and documentation).

The request must be sent a week in advance.
